Dawn Robertson definitely knows how to make me chuckle. Their personalities made this book all the more vibrant and I’m really looking forward to hearing their stories in the future. The secondary characters really added a lot to this story. “Seven, when you walked into that boardroom this morning, my entire world shattered into a thousand pieces.” He definitely has that swoon-worthy quality. Don’t get me wrong, I thought his character was hot and often times unexpectedly romantic. I usually prefer my book boyfriends to be a little more decisive. There were moments when Levi seemed inconsistent, wavering between letting Seven dominate and wanting to exert his inner alpha male. Her confusion at how much she liked letting him take the reigns sometimes felt so natural and genuine. I enjoyed watching her lose some control to Levi.

The characters were all full of potential and certainly intriguing. I thought this story was just the right amount of steam. Ninja-mind-fucking me again, something he is becoming particularly good at.” “And like that, his back to me, and he is walking out of my door. The chemistry between them is absolutely electric and it makes for a fantastic dynamic throughout the story. Everything about these two is sexy from the moment they meet. Then she meets Levi and, as in all good romances, she suddenly has no idea what she is doing. Her need for control extends into every aspect of her life and it definitely takes her to some interesting places. She is independent and always in control. So she builds a wall around herself that would require heavy machinery to bring down. Hers is the first book I read by Dawn Robertson and I really enjoyed reading this series. These include FF, FMF, and MFM interactions. Warning!!!! Hers contains sexually explicit situations that may be uncomfortable for some. Causing me to break the one rule I have lived by since Daniel Alexander walked out of my life, never have sex with the same person twice.

That was until a delicious plaything walked into the kink club I frequent, and rocked my typically un-rockable world. Five years, and a booming career later I am here to collect my revenge. When my college boyfriend dumped me, it was just icing on the cake. Blah, Blah Blah, insert sad story here about negligent parents, and shitty siblings, and you have my life story in a nut shell.

My entire life, no one has wanted me, and that was fine, because I sure as shit didn’t need anyone else.
